Summer is off to a great start! South Tabor is excited about all of the upcoming events around the neighborhood. The next exciting event is the South Tabor Garden Walk. on August 4th from 10 to 2. The Garden Walk will give neighbors a chance to tour gardens, gather ideas, and make friends.
STNA is also looking forward to this year’s Movie in the Park, scheduled for August 18th at Warner Pacific College. Live music begins at 6:30 and the movie “Akeelah and the Bee” at dusk.
The annual Harvest Festival and Garden Swap will be on September 16th from 1 to 6 pm in the field behind Trinity Fellowship at 67th and Clinton. There will be a veggie, plant, tool swap; 4 live bands; cornhusk doll making; face painting; craft vendors; BBQ corn ($1); cider; and fun for all ages.
